Les Tipis du Bonheur de Vivre – the link between two cultures

Les Tipis du Bonheur de Vivre is a tipi campsite set in a large land near a river and a lake. 15 tipis offer total immersion on a 17-acre site. Our team vigorously defends the values of Amerindian culture. Cars are not allowed in the camp (parking at the entrance to the site) to encourage immersion in nature and a break with the often urbanized everyday environment.

Overnight stay and themed stays

Tipis are available for rental every day from April, 20th, to Octobre, 20th of 2024. Throughout this timeframe, themed stays « Indian Legends » are planned on certain dates, as follows :

  • Weekends Indian Legend : April 20th, June 1st, July 6th, August 10th, and September 7th, check-in starting at 4p.m
  • Weekends Indian Legend & Dance (with Natives on the campsite) : May 25th, June 15th, June 22nd, July 13th, check-in starting at 2:30p.m

Native American authenticity

Les Tipis du Bonheur de Vivre, is above all a tipis campsite on a human scale, but without WiFi or vehicles. One comes here to reconnect and quietly rest. For many of you, this is “Unknown Land”, and the camp’s founder, Jean, wanted to offer you a glimpse of Native culture, a generator and bearer of essential values. You’ll discover and enjoy a salutary break. And don’t hesitate to discover our many activities.

Some key figures

Les Tipis du Bonheur de Vivre remains the only place in France that has been sharing Plains Native American culture on a permanent basis for 18 years. Every year, 3,000 children come for a discovery stay or a discovery day. Nearly 12,000 families and friends come to discover this culture through immersion.

At our tipi campsite, you’ll learn the true history of the Plains Native American, and you’ll be totally immersed when you light your fire in your tipi to disconnect from time. And don’t forget to take a breather … in our verdant setting …

Disconnection – Change of scenery – Authenticity – Sharing are the values we hold dear.
